PTO Minutes For March 8th:

Discussed HawkWalk which will be held May 6th.

Classroom Highest Sales: Pre k-4 Pizza party or Make your own sundae.
5-8 Pizza party or Make your own sundae.

Top Seller: Pre k-4 $25.00
5-8 $25.00

School wide goal amount $5,000
If school raises this amount there will be an outside day.

Forms will be sent home April 25th and need to be turned in by May 5th at 8 a.m.
Encourage students to bring in money daily to see the thermometer move.'
We will be doing flat donations (sponsorship to walk in walkathon).

Mrs. Leach made motion to approve all of the above and was seconded by Peggy Daniels.
Amanda Robbins made motion that if it rains it will be at the teacher's discretion as to what to do on free/outside day. Everybody seconded.

April 5th next meeting.

Minutes from November 16th, 2010 PTO meeting.

Mrs. Walker made motion to dismiss having kids night and all approved.

Mrs. Leach talked to school board member about water fountains and he suggested calling principals at other schools to find out who paid for their fountains.

Mr. Sells addressed that the gravels under the shelter needs to be concreted due to kids picking them up and also they are being washed away.

We discussed putting a trash can or permanent trash receptacle on the playground.

Mrs. Thomas made a motion that the PTO buy next round of pizzas for parent teacher conferences. Mrs. Cravins seconded.

We discussed problems with sliders on the bottom of chairs especially in upper grade levals.

Mrs. Watts made motion to dismiss at 5:52 p.m. Amanda Robbins seconded.
